I am thinking of getting a surveillance camera (or cameras) to keep an eye on mom when I am out of the house. Mother is VERY sedentary, but she HAS fallen in the past, so I worry about her when I have to briefly leave. Mom is also angry and complains that she doesn't need to be babysat. Hence the granny cam. The idea is that I could alert my sis (who lives very close by) when I run out, and she could (non-invasively) keep an eye on mom (remotely). (Mother would never notice the cameras.)

Has anyone tried this? Has anyone had success with this or can suggest a good system?

I used the Blink security cameras when my husband was bedridden in our living room and I had to run out for various reasons, so I could check on him through my phone. I have the older models where I could only hear him, when I checked in, but they now make them with 2 way talk, so you can talk to her if needed.
The Blink cameras are not that expensive, and I found that they worked really well for what I was needing them for.
