She's of sound mind. She don't like the realtor she chose, she wants too much 4 the home. She wants 2 much 4 stuff 2 sell, she don't like her new budget. She yelled @ someone@ her yard sale, yelled @ person looking 2 buy her home. Claims I picked the wrong realtor, says I can have something & takes it back 4 x, she won't turn off electric and water/trash. Tried 2 hit my daughter and husband. Accused me of not paying electric and taking saving acct.$. I do what she says and it's never right! Does she need 2 be there to sell her stuff? does she need 2 be there 2 sell her home? Please help me !!

Your best bet is to move her to the NH, the POA can complete all the papers. Obviously she is in great distress and needs medication for anxiety. Complete the sale without her there. Obviously she has dementia, but the MD is in denial or she has not exhibited any symptoms in his presence. You may have to do a neuro-psych exam, much more comprehensive than what a primary can do. Ask the MD for a referral, get her tested, because the POA is active when she is certifiably incapacitated.

Okay, does she have dementia? Is she on meds for agitation, anxiety depression? Is this new behavior or sudden onset? Have you called her doctor? She may have a UTI, be dehydrated or a host of other conditions. Don't take it personally, call her doc and investigate.
