I have been accused of Elderly abuse by my stepdaughter and her partner because one time they came to visit and some milk was outdated. They never once offered to help me with anything the whole time I have been caring for my Mom and Stepdad? They have reported me and made up these outlandish lies I am so hurt and they contact my sister who they know I don't have a good relationship with she was enthralled by the whole ordeal, I am really stressed. The nurse they reported me to didn't believe a word they said but told me she had to tell me and ask questions.

overwhelm, if the worker wasn't worried about accusation, all will be okay. I hope that they will discount anything your mother's stepdaughter and the spouse say in the future. People coming in can often feel like they can do things better. They don't understand how hard it can be. Perhaps you can get the stepdaughter and spouse more involved so that they will know more of what is going on. What did they allege? and what do you think their motive was?

Maybe can you restate the problem with re-addressing who is who. It just doesn't add up even with the small correction you added. You've called her your step daughter twice in the original post...now saying step sister. Perhaps are you writting this for someone else? No offense intended.

I'm a little confused - it your post you first mention its your step daughters father you are caring for - your husband, I'm assuming. Then you say your caring for you mom and your step-dad. Can you clarify a bit?
