Son brought father from North Carolina to wisconsin to take care of him. Son had poa's & will, threw father out along with poas, any rights.  son had a poa (finance & healthcare) & will. threw father out of house along with poa & will said F*** You, get out & never come back. Father has since passed away, had been living with significant other for nearly 3 years, they paid for everything, took to drs, got meds straightened out, made several trips back to north carolina, significant other had new poa's & will. Who has rights to make funeral arrangements, handle estate, whatever needs to be done.

No one person has the "right" to handle the funeral arrangements, it depends on who wants to make the arrangements... sounds like sig other would be first choice. If the sig other doesn't want to do it, then someone else in the family needs to step up.

As for the Will, the Will will state who will be in charge of the estate. It can be anyone that the father had wished to take care of this matter. It doesn't even need to be a relative.
