They stopped all outings to my house and stopped him from doing anything outside those 4 walls he looks at every single day. They stopped us from entering his room. How can we check to see if he needs anything. They have destroyed some of his clothes. No replacement. They have changed the visiting hours again. This is like the third time that has happened. His visitors have to have visits monitored. And the hours are Now 10-3. Everybody out when staff leaves. No visits on weekend at all!!! What is going on. Used to be able to stay until 7 and walk to his room. Can’t walk down the hallway now. Really memory care? Really, what do they think this does to the person living there? It’s horrible.

You have a couple of posts going. You really need to call the Ombudsman for ur state. They can help you find the answers.

I would welcome the monitored visits. That way you have a witness that everything is being done properly. Plus, most of the common areas are video monitored, so, I'd appreciate that as well. I wouldn't want to go into the unmonitored areas if I was under that much scrutiny.

Sounds like you need to find someplace else offering memory care and move your father.
