Hi all,

We pay all of our caregivers very well compared to what others do in the area. With that being said, we want to give holiday bonuses this year but on a sliding scale based on how long the caregiver has been with us. So if it’s been a year, we’d give $500. If it’s been 6 months, we’d give $250 so on and so forth.

The issue is that all the caregivers have become friendly and talk with each other. We are worried it’s going to cause issues.

Any advice?

thank you!

Find Care & Housing
I think it will cause problems. I would suggest one bonus amount only. I wouldn’t risk losing a caregiver over a Christmas bonus. They’re too hard to find.
