Are you having difficulty moving on in your life in some way? Do you work, have friends and outside interests?
I don't think we ever "forget" people we've lived who have passed on. You hold them in your heart, but you also remain engaged in the here and now.
Are you able to do that?

Mom passed away six years ago, and my former next door neighbor thinks I should forget her and let her go.
