What resources are available for a cognitively impaired aging couple with serious conditions who are confused about their insurance coverage?

Is there a non profit organization in your area that might help them?? There is such a group in my area, they would even have a vetted person help with the EOBs and balance billing. Another resource is SHIP (State healthcare insurance programs) that helps sort things out. Can this couple continue to live on their own much longer? Do they belong to a house of worship that might send a member of the congregation to sort things out. If you call your local county office of aging, they may be ale to direct you to resources in your community.
