Sunny333, curious why your friend had moved away 3 years ago? Was it to be near family? Do you have contact with any of her family or with her Power of Attorney? There had to be a good reason for her move.
Find out from her family how she is really doing? If you find that your friend wouldn't be able to physically make such a move, nor afford the cost in moving, then do what you have been doing that past 3 years, a good friend by phone.
