In Korea or China they have these drop boxes for unwanted infants, who might have birth defects, or just unwanted. The charity then cares.for them and possibly places for.adoption. maybe we need places we can "drop off" the elderly and (hate to say it, cause I would never do it) just leave them. Maybe then the abusers would not feel so pressured to lash out at the elderly. But I suppose it's all complicated by matters of whether the elderly person owns property or assets. If there were a way to send it all along,.and relieve the caregiver, maybe the abuse would stop.
