Can my Dad still receive Aid & Attendance if he needs to be put in a VA Nursing Home?

Dad is 92 and lives here with me. He now receives Aid & Attendance. If I can no longer take care of him and have to place him in either a VA Nursing Home or regular Skilled Nursing Home will he continue to receive the A&A for his Nursing home bill? We live in Missouri.

My father received the VA pension and is on the list for the VA nursing home here. We were told that yes he would continue to receive his total amount because my mother is still living too, he gets $2044 per month because he has a spouse. The nursing home is $750 per month

The aid flows with the patient, so the nursing home receives the funding for their services. They won't call it A&A, that is for care in the family setting.
