My mother is aware of the medications and the amounts and times she is supposed to take them and has been doing so without any problems and a staff member at the AZ assisted living facility she lives at came and took all of her medication away except one pain medication and has not given her any of her other medication in three days. What can I do about this?

Thank you. You were correct; as I reviewed the medication logs today and there were several red flags.

Go see the head nurse and review the medication logs. Chances are mom goofed up the meds or if she "shared" prescription meds with another resident, they would take them away. If the pill counts were off, it would indicate she goofed. Very possibly she has had the meds and does not remember.
