Is there any reason to continue with the Medicare supplemental program for a parent in a facility?

My dad is on medicaid and about to enter a facility (ALZ). It is about $250/month.

If receiving Medicaid to pay for his nursing home payments then he should be getting Medicaid insurance. Check with the home and see what they have covering him. If getting a Medicaid supplemental and prescription u can cancel.
