See an attorney ASAP about estate planning and Guardianship, before greedy step daughter gets a POA and empties the bank accounts. It can happen.

So, your husband is ill from lung problems and diabetes. Are you still caring for him at home? Are you able to use his funds to pay for additional care for him? Is that where the daughter comes in?
