The people who are poor don't need it.

There had to be a lot of compromises made in order to get the health reform started. It's very frustrating to those who have to wait - many, many people. But if those compromises weren't made, the bill would not have passed at all. Change is slow. I'm so sorry you and so many other have to cope with this. The Medicare D program was not, in my opinion, well designed, but change will make it better - over a long period of time.

Please check with your state insurance department (fish around online and you'll find it) and see what help they offer. Most offer some help for low income people (with their prescriptions).
