Can a POA change the beneficiaries previously established by the owner of the account?

Can Person with a POA can go into a bank and changed the beneficiaries that have been previously established by the owner of the account?

No!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! A POA does not have the legal authority to change beneficiaries on anything. I am the DPOA for my mother that was written out by her lawyer and in my presence explained to me what I could legally do and not do on her behalf.
