He has now passed away, it has been 6 months and I am ready to do something with them. Anything but throw them out! I gave some to a nursing home that has music piped thru the hallways, but there are so many, maybe to be be recycled? I cannot just throw them out, they are all in good condition and the music is mostly the crooners of yesteryear, some country legends, my dads favorites. Any suggestions? Thank you!

Call your local library, they may be interested in having them. If there is a nursing home nearby, they love the old stuff. And don't forget the nearby VFW or American Legion Post.

There might be a market for these on the Internet sales sites, or a used record store if there is one in your area.
