I am looking for the same thing. I started by going to the Center on Aging in our area. They will give you a list of respite care providers in your area. I was also told that if I went to DHS center on aging and disabilities that they would be able to give me names of adult foster homes that offer adult day care. Unfortunately in our area there aren't any nursing homes or assisted living facilities that offer adult day care so I have to expand my search. But, possibly in your area they may have facilities that offer day care. Try the DHS and the Center on Aging.
