I am a fulltime caregiver for my Mom of 94. My husband is in Ga with a Mother in ICU who may not make it and a Step Dad dying of stage 4 cancer, I may need to go. I live in NC and take care of my mom who cannot take care of herself. I was wondering if there is a place to take her temporarily? I don't want to hire in home care as they have not been reliable in the past and have stick fingers..Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Find Care & Housing
Call nearby memory care facilities to inquire about a respite stay. It will take some planning so do not wait until the last minute. Or try a different home care agency.

You have some options so you can go and take care of other business. Check out other long-term care settings at freeltcquotes. If you will be gone for a day only, you may try adult day care services, but if you will be gone for a week to a month, respite care would be your best option. After all, respite care services can be done either through home or in a long-term care facility. Some assisted living also offers temporary stay, so depending on your preference, you can choose which settings will be the best for your mom's need.
