There is a room available and I can get a PRI scheduled but I applied for Medicaid for Mom 3 weeks ago and have not received acceptance yet. I hate to lose the room by waiting.

The most common reason for rejection is conflicting MD reports about ADL's. I had to lead mom's MD by the hand. He was actually in deep denial over her decline. Stare and compare the reports.

No medical report was filed with Medicaid application. I did it all through the Dept of Aging. My doctor sent a report to HCR for the PRI...Medicaid has only the application and 5 year look back of finanaces

There had to be some kind of medical report with the Medicaid application. I know for VA Aid & Attendance we filled out a 2680 and the MD signed it prior to admission to the ALF. The PRI should be done, and it has to agree with what you told Medicaid for the aid process to flow smoothly.
