marylf2008, do you know why he won't take these pills?

My mother would take her blood pressure pills if her ankles were swollen. If they looked OK she said she didn't need the pills. Sigh. The concept that you might need to take pills to PREVENT symptoms was totally foreign to her and took a LOT of explanations and convincing. I think she still doesn't get it but since everyone makes such a fuss about it she is now trying to humour us.
