Facebook, for those who use it, have a lot of groups to join if there is a special concern such as Lewy's Dementia and others. When my brother fell ill with Lewy's I enjoyed a page there and used it with some frequency in the beginning of learning about his diagnosis.

Maybe try mayoclinic.org, they have reliable, in-depth health info. When it comes to practical, day-to-day caregiving, I often turn to DailyCaring.com for tips and advice covering everything from managing medications to finding local support.
