I am working with a client who is a double-amputee (not a veteran) and on renal dialysis. He has a homemaker a few hours per week but otherwise requires daily meals. He lives on the south side of Chicago.
Check in your area for the Aging care dept. Here on island, we have what is called Senior Citizen. My parents qualified for the Meals on Wheels which brings lunch from Monday-Friday. While calling, maybe ask if they know of other programs that your client might benefit from.
