My mom is a type 1 diabetic, with just medicare. I have been talking with an insurance broker and the suggested Optimum healthcare Special Needs Plans. Does anyone have any experince with them? All opinons and advice welcome.

See if her MD's will accept Optimum insurance. I never heard of this one.

I only see one MD who takes their insurance in New Port Richey. LOL

Both her Primary Dr. and Diabetes Dr. would take the Optimum healthcare Special Needs Plans, I was just wondering if anyone had any of the Special Needs Plans and if they felt how good they are.
