My half brother obtained POA by my mother signing the paper not knowing what it was for?

My mother is in a nursing home and my half brother is her POA. She does not want him as her POA. He I trying to top me seeing her as we Him/I do not get along. I cared for my mum or 4 years before she ent into care which at the time was only respite.

Is your mother still able to understand what a POA is and what it means to authorize someone to act on her behalf? If so, she can easily appoint someone else as POA and rescind any former appointments. Because there is conflict, I suggest having a lawyer come visit her to accomplish this.
