I don't know if this is allowed - this is just my second time posting. Does anyone have personal experience and recommendations for nursing homes in the Portland, Oregon metro area? Mom needs skilled nursing and LTC. Thanks!
Go to https://www.medicare.gov/care-compare/?guidedSearch=NursingHome&providerType=NursingHome Plug in your zip and you will find nursing home scores based on select criteria. This is not anecdotal criteria which you are asking us forum members for advice but scorable criteria based on numerical values. Remember to also check if these homes are Medicaid eligible for future reference. I checked some of them in 2 areas that I lived where my mom and MIL resided in the past and found where the criteria scored lower that they were pretty much spot on
