Is it normal to urinate in strange places?

That is very common. My husband would want to pee in any container— the dog bowl, a water fountain in the hospital when he came to visit me, the wastebasket, the bathtub and on the floor. Now he is in a memory care facility and they act like they’ve never seen anyone do this before!! Sorry, but you can only prevent this if you are with them.when they say they have to go pee. Then you hope you can help them find the toilet quickly enough. So, have your carpets cleaned or replace them with hardwood floors after he is gone. It will get worse!!
