Mom has severe heart disease and dementia. Nothing doctors can do. She slept for two days straight and wouldn't eat. They took her off IV and hospice is overseeing her and keeping her comfortable. Today she rebounded. Was awake, talking and drinking. Is this normal? Now I'm second guessing all my decisions.

Hospice is not a straight line down. The patient may rally with a change of meds. This will not last, but enjoy this ray of sunshine when you have it. You made the right decision.
