I just can't anymore. I am flailing and ailing. My own health has taken a back seat to moms. I need to get her somewhere so I can get somewhere. She has Humana taking care instead of state. Does anyone know of their assisted living.
I'm very sorry to hear how you feel. I know its hard. Totally understandable that you feel like you are drowning. I'm glad you are asking for help. I would talk with the town office about programs for seniors in the community. There are resources out there and we just need to know where to look. I hope a social worker can help you explore all your options.
If you can't anymore, then don't. That is common sense. But first make arrangements for it to get done some other way. We can be loving and caring without doing it all hands-on ourselves.
