He seemed to be able to provide food for himself by cleaning around the trailer park but it doesn't seem like he makes enough to live a healthy life. My family always gives him food or money whenever we can but we are not very well of either. Recently he has stopped going out of his house and can't get up some days. It's heartbreaking to see him and my mom is scared that he might pass away in his current condition. Who can I call or contact to help him? My family is undocumented and currently paying for my college so we can't do much to help.
The thing to do is call adult protective service and alert them to this poor man's situation. The other thing that can be done is to request a wellness check by the police who will then connect to the appropriate services.
