Need tranportation to Dr and back home, how can you help me?

If you are on Facebook, you can post there with your needs or request. I found a man in our area who provides transport for people to medical appointments and such. We also have a county transport system that has a handicap van with a chair left and will provide rides in our county for a nominal fee.

There is an app called "Nextdoor" where you can be in touch with people in your own neighborhood. In my neighborhood, when someone needs a ride somewhere as you do they post the request to their neighbors via the app and every single time I have seen multiple offers of help from people who live right around the person asking for help. I have used it to find help for small home projects, you get the neighborhood news, you can sell and buy items, post a lost pet, etc. May be worth checking out.

Call your Agency on Aging. Or try the doc's office to see if they know of how to get transport. Local churches?
