One of our local Funeral homes has a handout of all the information you need to gather when preparing a Will. It is a good place to start and the less time you take with a lawyer generally the less expensive, but some will have a set rate for a Will.

The complexity of the estate planning can also impact the cost of preparation.

Call your Office of Aging and see if they have know of Lawyers who work on scale.

Call AARP. They may have volunteer attorneys that can assist with this. While you are at it make sure your POA and other documents are prepared as well.
