My parents live in Norwalk, CT. I have had in home care in the past, but I was not very happy with the people who were sent to the house. I do everything else in the house, but he will not let me help him in the shower, which is understandable. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Find Care & Housing
Contact your local area on aging and share with them that you need help. It's easier than calling around to dozens of home health care agencies yourself. They can help you figure out what Dad's insurance will pay for and arrange the bath aide's visits around your schedule.

Bath aides (or at least ours) only came once a week. I wished for more because they had to be bed baths and I never felt hubby was truly clean.
