What your son receives is based on his income if over the age of 18. Has nothing to do with your income. My nephew receives SSD, Medicare and Medicaid. He lived with my Mom. Her income and home never came into the picture.

At the age of 18 a child becomes emancipated. Parents are no longer responsible for a childs care or debts. And a child is not responsible for a parents care or debts.
