My sister is in a nursing home and hasn't gotten her personal allowance check in her fund. I talked to them but no help. Any suggestions?

She has not gotten her personal allowance check for months. I haven't gotten a statement yet either. I think that someone in the office is stealing it.

It’s not usually issued in the form of a check made out to her. It’s a credit applied to her account at the facility. How is the nursing home paid? If they receive her social security, again no check is issued to her. The facility credits her account.

Who have you spoken to? Go to the top? Is it possible she has forgotten, or a deadbeat relative has stopped by to steal it?
