Find Care & Housing
I live and work in Indiana for a hospice company and we have helped many people get private caregivers in their homes to help. The going rate seems to be about 12 dollars an hour to hire private caregivers, but that price depends on the person and usually how far away they live from the patient. I recommend that you interview different people (the social service department in most hospitals have a private duty caregiver list with names and numbers of people) ask for references and make a list of questions to ask them. If your mother has a long-term care policy on her insurance policy that can help pay for the care-giving. Hope this helps and gives you a little head start.
