Onions if dad served during wartime then you mom may be eligible. My MIL receives benefits but her family did the application. Some people can do it themselves and others hire out.

May I ask what VA Aid & Attendance is? My father (who was a retired marine) passed away in 2016 and I'm now my mother's caregiver. Is this something I could receive? Thank-you!!

No, unless she is paying over 50% for Moms expenses. She needs to talk to a preparer. Mom can't claim herself if sister does.
