She was diagnosed in Aug 2009 and doing well with treatment, but all of the research that I have done and her doctors say that when it comes back and it will, that it will come back with a vengence. Most of all the cases that I have researched the most common life expectancy is 18-24 months. I am just trying to be prepared for when this happens.

I am wondering if you ever received an answer to your question? I am in a very similar situation as my mother has a glioblastoma diagnosis and I am not able to work and care for her as she needs.

My mom went thru 30 treatments of radiation & chemo in a pill form and after these there was little change in size of growth. Now she is on IV chemo every other week and the tumor has shrank 75 % and stable. My mom had done tremendous throughout all of her treatments. She hasn't been sick at all, which is amazing!! We are thanking GOD for her healing and know that HE is in control.

Wow, my mom was just recently diagnosed with a tumor in her brain that has caused her to lose some left side of the body mobility. They haven't done a biopsy, but the radiology doc says it's most likely a primary brain tumor. Other oncologist said it was a metastic brain tumor, but the radiology guy said no due to no other cancer in the body earlier on. My mom is eager to have radiation, but she's in really poor health to begin with here, so I'm wondering what treatment your mom's had. Radiation and/or chemo? And how did she handle the treatment?
