In 2017, she became sick. I spent approximately $6,500 for medical expense, not including transportation from village to the hospital. $1,100. air fare to attend to her (6 weeks vacation), about$4,000 in caregiver cost. Is this tax deductible? I make approximate $91,000 a year.
