Jamiej, was your Mom in a nursing home because she was in rehab and its time for her to return home? I see from your profile she is 69 years old with mobility problems.
Kicked out? For what reason? Can she live on her own? If not call APS and report a vulnerable adult.. You do not have to take her in or get involved if you can’t take on the responsibility.
"Kicked out" means what exactly? Where is your Mom living right now? Who is POA for your Mom? If the POA is you then with your husband ill that needs to be your first priority. You may need to resign as POA. You may need to report Mom as an adult at risk to the APS and tell them you are unable to serve for your Mom at this point, asking for guardianship of the state if there is no family ready and willing to take over. If you give us more information we can perhaps give more guidance. But as yet we don't know why or to where Mom got kicked. Nor who is available other than you to help. We only know that it is clear your plate is way overflowing!
