My mom was on a liquid diet at the hospital. Like for one month they took the feeding tube out because she was aspirating. They transferred my mom to a nursing home. It's been 3 weeks she does not eat or drink any water.

Find Care & Housing
I remember your other post regarding your mom aspirating, suffering from sepsis and bed sores. This has been an awful time for all of you. My understanding is that she no longer has a feeding tube and does not eat or drink. Your mom’s body has been through a great deal of deterioration. Even though she is in the NH, perhaps hospice can be called. They will help oversee her care and can be much better at supporting the family and explaining what is happening. Sometimes the NH staff are so busy, they don’t get to take the time to really explain what our LOs are experiencing and what we should expect. My heart goes out to you. I’m very sorry you’re going through this.
