My mom keeps “picking” something off her arm. She said it feels like her skin is peeling off. What is causing this?

It’s only 1 arm that she does it to. There isn’t anything on her arm. She is constantly doing this unless she is using that arm. I’m not sure what is causing it.

I will assume here Mom has Dementia. There is no rhyme or reason when it comes to this desease. I would mention this to her doctor. It may be a form of anxiety.
