My mom's situation is different other issues have come up, so her doctor has prescribed Risperidone 5mg once a day at bedtime. Has anyone else used this medication for dementia and are the effects positive or negative?
The psychiatrist has put my mom on this plus Ativan as she is in the geriatric psych in the hospital. I don’t truly know the side effects myself as I’m up in Canada but she’s still having delusions at times and she sure as hell isnt calm! She yells out all the time! Are you seeing any side effects with your LO?
