That depends on a lot of variables. If Mom has the funds to pay for your services, put the agreement in writing! Personal Care Agreement (sometimes called a family care contract) spells out the duties you will perform and the compensation you’ll be paid. An attorney can draw up the services agreement for you. If you've got an agreement in writing, you can file a claim for compensation with the Estate if necessary. If she has Medicaid or government services, you may qualify for payment. You can be paid by your Mom, but I don't think you can be paid by any governmental agency or insurance to do these tasks. At least none I am aware of. Wishing you the best. Know it is tough to have all of these things to do.
