Seroquel and Haldol were the only two that worked for my dad's agitation. Several other meds were tried to no avail.

Hoping you can find a solution, as I know this can be quite distressing.

Really this has to be in the hands of her medical team who knows her and knows her condition the best. Sometimes low dose anti depressants help a bit. Sometimes anti anxiety medications should be given a try. This is all very hit or miss and it's difficult to assess how helped she is when her reactions to the meds aren't directly observed. If the care facility will agree to speak with her MD about observations it may help. I surely do wish you good luck.

You don't mention how long she's been in MC. Has she been tested for a UTI? They are extremely common in elderly women and often only show neurological and behavioral symptoms. Please let us know if she's been tested recently.
