Find Care & Housing
I agree with Carol, go for a second opinion. Have his tyroid rechecked. How was he before the diagnosis? Could it be that since hearing the diagnosis that he is depressed and feels that life isn't worth living? Check out Lewy Body on the web. Lewy Body is an offshoot of Parkinsons. When was the last time he saw his doctor? This could be a side effect of medication, or he could have other health issues. He really needs a checkup, and if one doctor says there's nothing to do, I'd see another for a second opinion, in case something is being missed.
