Our house is for sale, we need aplace which we can afford. He had a fall accident, badly injured, but thank God he survived! He is 90 years old. I need someone to assist for me to go back to work. Either assisted living or nursing home. But I would like to stay with him.Is Medicare responsible for the bills? Please mention a few places you know which are good and reasonable prices in Cincinnati, if necessary even out of Cincinnati.

Find Care & Housing
I just sent this to my sister whose husband has PD: https://parkinsonsdisease.net/basics/treatment-cost-tips

If you haven't check into the support offered by PD associations, do. They can give you more targeted support. https://parkinsoncincinnati.org/

If you don't get any recommendations for a facility here, your state's Aging Department has a search tool that may help you locate a skilled nursing facility.

Medicare does not pay for a NH except for rehab right after a hospitalization.
Medicaid would pay for a NH if he qualifies physically and financially. You would have to qualify also in order for Medicaid to pay for you to stay with him.
A certified elder law attorney can help you determine if you can remain in your home while DH goes to the NH. If you need a portion of DH SS check to afford to stay in your home that can sometimes be arranged. There are specific rules depending upon your state laws.
Do not spend all your savings or proceeds from the home sale to pay for DH care. See an attorney to protect your portion of your combined assets as the community spouse.

I am afraid you provide too little information to give us any idea what's happening here.
You say your hubby, who has Parkinson's, is currently in need of care at 90, while you yourself intend to try to return to work. Might I ask what your own age is?

If you are selling the home to provide finances enough to move hubby into care, then the sale of the home will happen and you would see an attorney for division of finances to protect your own share of your assets from being tapped for the cost of his nursing home. It might be a better move to place hubby who could at present, if your home is your only asset, qualify for Medicaid.

I think that you should consult an elder law attorney for options for your situation, or a Licensed Social Worker. Speak with your own or hubby's doctor for a way to reach out for some help and support. Also consider talking with your local council or agency on aging, which number you can find online for your area.

Good luck.
