My daughter took off work for a yr to be my caretaker. I want to pay her back monies she spent on my care. Any suggestions?

Request the receipts, repay daughter, then place receipts in a safe place in case you need to go oh Medicaid within five years.
And if possible pay daughter for her time. Get advice on this from an elder law attorney. What did that year off work cost her?

Do you have other children who did not help you? How much money did this daughter forego because she was your caregiver? I would consider paying for her TIME as well as monies she spent on your behalf.
