Usually the elders are cold natured and turn the heat up to jungle levels. Possibly a medication is causing the side effect of sweating. I have a couple meds that give me brief hot flushes but it doesn’t last long.

How about her blood work? Is it normal? Thyroid problems could cause sweating too.

Of course it isn't normal! There are a myriad of conditions that could be the cause, from pain to diabetes to ??? Take her for a check up.
