My 80 yo father refuses to change/ have me change adult diapers drenched with urine. He is strong physically and very hard headed. Advice?

Changed his adult underwear while he put on fresh ones. So glad they can be cut off. He never even flinched when I pulled olds from between legs as he pulled new ones up. He wasn't washed off, but maybe tonight he will let me. We went walking right after he ate. Needs to poop. Last time was Friday. He says he isn't going to poop. Has organic apple cider in him, 3 prunes, a lot of home-cooked veggies, 1 miralax, water. Any additional advice?

I agree with funkygrandma, not knowing much other than what you have posted on the subject line. It sounds as though our Dad may no longer be able to be cared for in the home. Is this something deterioration something you are seeing in line of other problems with his care? The results of being in feces or urine can be bedsores; they alone can be deadly.

Not changing a urine soaked diaper regularly can result in not only severe diaper rash, but can break down the skin as well, leading to all kinds of issues. If this continues, you will have no choice but to place him in the appropriate facility. Best wishes.
